Peaceful Wildlife Garden Pond

The Brief

To design and build a relaxing garden from an overgrown wilderness set in a hollow within a busy town.

What We Did

We designed the garden with a large pond as the focal point that would encourage wildlife to an urban area yet be low maintenance. A summerhouse was placed in the sun so that the customer could overlook the pond with grass paths and flowering shrubs surrounding it.

The Perfect Garden

The pond now attracts wildlife including frogs, birds, dragonflies and a pair of ducks that visit every year. The pond’s mood changes with the weather as some days you have reflections or the ‘pitta patta’ of rain drops and ripples in the wind. The summerhouse has created a space to sit and relax whatever the weather.
