Colourful Patio Garden Design
The Brief
The customer wanted a new patio garden design with specific garden features. They wanted paving stone paths and a patio to link the house to the summerhouse and to optimise sitting areas in the sun.
They also wanted an existing lawn replacing and new colourful flower planting schemes for the borders.
What We Did
We placed the garden patio and path in the sunny side of the garden as one feature using the summerhouse as the focal point. The grass was removed and replaced with Indian Sandstone paving flags laid in a formal pattern. A new lawn was laid and all the flowerbeds were dug over incorporating plenty of compost for good plant growth and then a colourful planting scheme was chosen and planted to contrast and soften the patio.
The Perfect Garden
The garden patio is now a lovely tranquil place to sit and relax surrounded by lots of colourful plants that attract many butterflies and wildlife.
